We had a 50th Anniversary party scheduled in March for my parents and when Covid hit and everything closed down Ron made sure we did not worry that they would work with us on rescheduling. Not only is the Grooves band awesome, but Ron is fantastic to work with. Most bands will not play all of the songs that are requested, but Ron makes sure your special selections are played. Our party was... for a dance club whose members like a variety of music from oldies to current, and this band can play it all. The Grooves had played the year before, and were so popular, we booked them again for our Jan. 2019 party. From their playlist, we selected 39 songs which was approximately 3 hours of music, and I think they played every one! People who normally would have left before the end of the party were still dancing to the very end. Countless members have said it was the best party the club has ever had. Not surprisingly, we have already signed a contract to have the Grooves back in January 2020!read more

"I heard about The Grooves through a co-worker who raved about this band that played at his daughter's wedding. I was intrigued so I went ahead and booked them. It was the best decision of my entire... wedding (besides the groom of course). This band is absolutely fantastic. Months later and my family and friends are still raving about the band and how much fun they had dancing all night. The Grooves not only impressed me by their amazing performance, but they were extremely friendly to work with, arrived on time, had everything set up... early, tore down and cleaned up after themselves - which helped me save time focusing on other aspects of the wedding day! Awesome, awesome, awesome. If you want your party or reception to be incredible, memorable and downright fun, we highly recommend The Grooves. It was an absolute pleasure working with Ron and The Grooves... for our wedding April 6, 2013 at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. The Grooves MADE the reception. They read the crowd and kept them partying all night long. Ron’s advice on the play list was invaluable. He definitely knows which songs are ‘cleaners’, thus we culled through 100s of songs picking the best ones that would keep the dance floor hopping and folks of all ages comfortable on the dance floor. That effort paid off as the dance floor was never empty. The dinner set was perfect because people could still converse and hear each other while many of the folks actually got up to dance between meal courses. We had 80 year old to 6 year olds dancing the night away with most of the 180 guests staying until the end of the reception. We never thought so many folks of all ages would be there at the end. The costume changes added to the energy and was well worth it! Folks commented on how great it was at a certain point where a few band members got down on the dance floor to amph the party up another notch. The evening went seamlessly from introductions to first dance to speeches to our exit song. Ron kept things moving in a tasteful and classy manner.
