A favorite of Corpus Christi bands, the Grooves band has performed in Corpus Christi since 1991 for weddings, debutante parties, corporate parties and society functions and is considered the best of Corpus Christi bands when you want your crowd on the dance floor and cutting a rug. The Grooves band always packs the dance floor and plays hit favorites from many eras including 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and current hits and dance music.
While there are certain types of events we play more than others, we are the most flexible band for hire! No matter what type of event you’re hiring for, we can help it go off without a hitch… unless it’s a wedding, where there will be just one hitch!

The Grooves have performed in many venues throughout the years in Corpus Christi, Texas starting off in 1994 playing the local Corpus Christi bands club scene. The band played on regular rotation at the Yucatan Beach Club, Woolie Bullies, Bob Aruba’s, and many other clubs that have come and gone. Unlike most other Corpus Christi bands this super group then moved on to more prestigious parties playing society parties, weddings, and corporate parties at the prestigious Corpus Christi Country Club, the Town Club downtown and many other noteworthy venues in the area.
